To create a digital campaign for Smythson that celebrates the making process of the Smythson Soho Notebook. Agency: Otherway.
The Concept
With a making process as magical, as skilled and as rare as that of the Smythson notebooks, it’s a shame how many people don’t know the reality of just how special these objects are. The art direction is based on the idea of a ‘factory dance’, the video celebrates the craftspeople, machinery, and rhythmic relationship between them in the making process.
